Chris Isaak In Albuquerque

Chris Isaak

I have visited many zoos in North America and Europe. One of the most lovely zoo's anywhere on my list is the Rio Grande Bio Park in Albuquerque. This past weekend it was the delightful scene of a concert in its outdoor amphitheater set amongst green grass under ancient cottonwood trees. With all of New Mexico's recent fires and incessant drought, the coolness of green grass and drifting twilight breezes was a pleasure made only greater by the presence of CHRIS ISAAK and his band.

The unique amphitheater is set up with a koi pond directly in front of the stage. Seating was 'find your own spot and spread your blanket' (or fancy folding chair). During the concert a sidewalk directly in front of the stage with koi pond, made for some fantastic photographic opportunities.

I have tried to capture what I could of the concert in digital photography and three informal videos that follow...Because of space limitations for this Blogger weblog page, the complete web gallery of still photographs is at Picasa (linked below). The videos are on YouTube (also linked below). Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of your summertime with or with out the 'blues'.
